What Are Neurophysiological Studies?

These are specialized tests that record and analyze electrical activity from the brain, nerves, and muscles. They are safe, painless, and essential in diagnosing several neurological and muscular disorders.

Common Tests We Offer:

• EEG (Electroencephalogram)
  Detects abnormal brain activity, helpful in conditions like epilepsy, seizures, and sleep disorders.

• EMG (Electromyography)
  Measures muscle response to nerve signals. Used to assess muscle weakness, nerve damage, and disorders like myopathy or ALS.

• NCS (Nerve Conduction Study)
  Evaluates the speed and strength of electrical signals in nerves. Useful in diagnosing neuropathies, carpal tunnel syndrome, and sciatica.
